Jared Sharpe

Director of PTA Finance & PTA Sports

Jared Sharpe is the Director of Planned Television Arts’ Finance and Sports divisions, overseeing all media outreach for experts in such fields as personal finance, investing, and real estate, as well as professional and collegiate sports.

Jared joined the PTA team as a publicist in 2003, after three years in the literary, sports and high-tech public relations industries.  He has since played an integral part in the publicity campaigns for such best-selling authors as David Bach, Robert Kiyosaki and Harvey Mackay; respected financial institutions such as Morningstar and Motley Fool; and sports celebrities including Major League Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Dave Winfield, champion college football coach Lou Holtz, and Super Bowl-winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

A graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication, some of his more high-profile media placements while with PTA include the Associated Press,
McClatchy News Service, BusinessWeek, CBS-TV’s “Early Show,” CNBC-TV’s “Power Lunch” and “Closing Bell,” HBO-TV’s “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel,” NPR’s “Only a Game,” “The Jim Rome Show,” ESPN Radio’s “Mike & Mike in the Morning” and Fox Sports Radio’s “The Drive with Chris Myers.”

PTA Speaking Tours

The PTA Speaking Tour creates speaking events for authors as part of its Road Tour services. In order to maximize an author's time in a particular market PTA will arrange for one, sometimes two, speaking engagements.
