PTA Speaking Tours
PTA Speaking Tours
The PTA Speaking Tour creates speaking events for authors as part of its Road Tour services. In order to maximize an author's time in a particular market PTA will arrange for one, sometimes two, speaking engagements. Besides booking local media interviews on TV, Radio and Print, PTA also will arrange for a bookseller to come and sell books at the event and assist with calendar listings.
PTA has extensive contacts with local business groups around the country including:
- Chambers of Commerce,
- CEO Clubs,
- YPO,
- YEO,
- American Marketing Assoc. Chapters,
- Sales & Marketing Exec. Chapters,
- Business Journals, and
- Economic, University and Entrepreneur Clubs.
In addition, PTA has conducted "Church Tours" and has relationships with Unity Churches around the country as well as other mainstream churches that host events.
Recent Speaking Tours include:
- Jack Canfield - The Success Principles (HarperCollins)
- Harvey Mackay - We Got Fired! (Ballantine Books)
- Essie Mae Washington-Williams - Dear Senator (HarperCollins)
- Charles Rossotti - Many Unhappy Returns (Harvard Business School Press)
PTA can book as many as twenty or thirty cities for a full-scale campaign or a targeted campaign of five to ten cities. Ideally, we have six months lead-time or more to book these events but can work with a shorter lead time.
Case histories are available upon request.

testimonials"Thank you for your excellent work promoting our book, Vital Factors - The Secret To Transforming Your Business and Your Life. As you are aware, Vital Factors was our first book and we were novices at the fundamentals of promoting a business book. Our decision to work with your firm was based upon your extensive experience promoting business books and we are not disappointed. I sincerely appreciated your consistent coaching and advice as we executed the book campaign. This spirit of teamwork and collaboration made a difference. We learned a great deal about promoting a book and we can also apply many of these principles to future PR efforts. Your weekly updates kept our eye on the ball as we moved the campaign forward. I will continue to recommend you and your firm to business associates who want to gain national exposure for their books."
