For more information, please contact Brian Feinblum at 212-583-2718 or feinblumb@plannedtvarts.com.
National TV Placement
In today's media climate, coverage on national news and talk shows is essential. At the same time, access to this national audience is increasingly competitive. Our track record at placing authors, celebrities and corporate spokespeople on the most visible and influential television shows is unsurpassed. We regularly book the top shows:
| The Today Show The Early Show 20/20 Oprah Bill O'Reilly | Good Morning America Larry King Live! Dateline NBC Regis & Kelly Charlie Rose |
With the rapid growth of cable programming we pay special attention to shows on the following networks:
| CNN Lifetime E! Entertainment FOX News Channel The Food Network CNBC Bloomberg | MSNBC C-SPAN CNN-FN The Nashville Network ESPN |
Our diverse client base gives us the opportunity to also work closely with major entertainment shows such as:
- Entertainment Tonight,
- Leno,
- Letterman and
- Extra!. Business outlets including PBS's Nightly Business Report, Bloomberg TV, and Wall Street Week In Review.
Tough national bookings require an experienced media relations expert with personal relationships with key producers.
Local TV/Media Road Tours
- Our knowledge of local TV is unsurpassed due to our extensive road touring with authors and corporate spokespeople. In each market there are a variety of outlets for PTA clients ranging from:
- 6:00 - 7:00 AM news programs that lead into The Today Show or Good Morning America;
- Local Fox morning shows that air from 7:00 - 9:00 AM,
- Midday and noon news programs, daytime talk programs;
- Taped public affair programs; and
- Evening news programs.
PTA's ability to get our clients on these powerful local venues is what makes a road tour worthwhile!
Media road tours of course also include print and radio interviews. A typical day in a major market will include several TV appearances, live interviews on a radio morning drive program followed by more extensive interviews on local talk radio, with one or two print interviews to round out the day. We coordinate everything: training, travel, escorts, updates and the top television, radio and print placements in every market.
Satellite Media Tours
In our increasingly smaller world, dominated by instantaneous telecommunications, PTA*Satellite delivers state-of-the-art Satellite Media Tours (SMT).
Satellite TV Tours offer superior exposure for important issues and ensure that your message reaches a significant and targeted audience, with a potential of over a million viewers across the country. During one morning, we will arrange 18-20 back-to-back news interviews with local TV stations across the country via satellite. We regularly book with affiliates of NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox for shows which lead into to national news programs like The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Early Show, and FOX Morning News.
The Satellite Media Tour lasts about 3 hours with each interview typically lasting 4-6 minutes. Most are live interviews; some are taped.

testimonials"Thank you for your excellent work promoting our book, Vital Factors - The Secret To Transforming Your Business and Your Life. As you are aware, Vital Factors was our first book and we were novices at the fundamentals of promoting a business book. Our decision to work with your firm was based upon your extensive experience promoting business books and we are not disappointed. I sincerely appreciated your consistent coaching and advice as we executed the book campaign. This spirit of teamwork and collaboration made a difference. We learned a great deal about promoting a book and we can also apply many of these principles to future PR efforts. Your weekly updates kept our eye on the ball as we moved the campaign forward. I will continue to recommend you and your firm to business associates who want to gain national exposure for their books."
